A night before construction began

A night before construction began

Work is well underway at the new home of St. Croix Preparatory Academy! Since we first broke ground two months ago, the transformation of our 58 acres site in Baytown Township is nothing short of miraculous.

If you drive by, you will notice that the two water retention ponds to the north are complete and that the building itself is rapidly growing out of the large pile of sand (26,000 tons of sand, to be exact).

The footings are complete and the cement block foundations walls are nearly done. In addition, we continue to work at getting all utility lines in before winter. The water lines are complete and there are several fire hydrants on site now. Crews are working to get the sanitary sewer lines installed and are ready to make the connection to the main line at the Inspiration development to the east. If you drive by next week you may see a crew boring under Stagecoach Trail to make that connection.

Stay tuned! You should see some walls before the end of the month.
